From Takamatsu Airport
About 45 min by limousine bus to Takamatsu Station (¥1,000). There is also a direct bus to Kotohira, so heading straight from the airport to Konpira-san is convenient.

Takamatsu Port: Where Island Trips Begin
Boats to Naoshima, Teshima, Shodoshima, Megijima and Ogijima leave from Takamatsu Port. Piers are separate by destination, so arrive 15 minutes before departure. Vehicles go on ferries only (not high-speed boats).

Travel Light to the Islands
Use the coin lockers and luggage storage at Takamatsu Station and Takamatsu Port. You can also have luggage delivered from the airport to your hotel and sightsee unencumbered.

Accessibility
Ritsurin Garden lends wheelchairs and has routes with few steps. At Konpira-san, palanquins (paid) run as far as the main gate; Naoshima's island buses include ramp-equipped vehicles. At Chichibugahama the path from the parking lot to the beach is paved.
